Party All Night Long

Last night C and I attended our friends K's & B's engagement party.  It was at this beatuiful loft in St. Louis hosted by her mom's boyfriend.  It couldn't have been a better evening.

It was a really great night sitting around, playing games, and talking.  I have the greatest friends anyone could ask for!! I am so blessed to have such great friends and family!

Gloomy

Today is a very gloomy day...I wish the sun would pop out!!  The last couple of days have been pretty low key.  C and I went out with an old friend from high school last night, that was fun.  It is very weird to say from high school, it seems like we just graduated last year.  Although its really been 3.. :( Then we just went back to C's house to watch the blues game and hang out.  Nothing too interesting.  Tonight we have our very first engagement party to attend!! Im pretty anxious to see how this is going to go.  It is semi-formal so we have to dress accordinly (this is something we very seldom do).  I am very excited for our first grown-up party! :)

I've been kinda behind on the 30 day challenge so I am going to make this post for two days.

Day 3- A picture that never fails to make you laugh

Day 4-A picture of you and a person you wish you could see more

I really miss having my younger brother C around (to the left of me).  Since he went away to college its just been me and the youngest brother at home with the rents.  Our house is very quiet and lonely without him around all the time.

Birthdays and Weddings

This weekend was pretty eventful as far as my weekends typically go.  I had a TON of homework to accomplish by Monday and was scheduled to work all day Saturday and had my cousin's wedding on Sunday.  And I did manage to get everything done!!

Yesterday was C's 21st birthday!! I cant believe he is already legal to drink.  Since it was on a Monday we did not really get to do much.  We are planning on doing something exciting this weekend.  And since 21 is such a big milestone, I decided to get him some cheesy drinking gifts :)

He loves me :)

Day 2 of 30 day challenge

Day 2- A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

My family-they are a HUGE part of my life and have made me the person I am today.  This is a picture of us after my youngest brother's confimation (the one in the orange, yes, he is the tallest in the family).

So on facebook, everyone is doing the 30 day picture thing, and I think it looks really cool.  So i am going to do it on here.  Here it goes!!

Day 1- A picture of yourself with 15 facts.

1. Soda is a huge weakness of mine...especially fountain MT. DEW :)

2. I am following my dream to become a teacher one day and prefer to teach the 2nd or the 3rd grade

3. My friends and family are my life and I dont know what I would do without them.
4.  I am a freak when it comes to my closet, everything has to be color cordinated and by style.
5. I love my boyfriend C, he is my bestfriend, we've been through a lot and I could not ask for anyone better
6. Grover, my yorkshire terrier, is such a lil pistol and always brings a smile to my face

7. Mike and Ike's are my favorite candy and can eat a whole box by myself, and not regret it after the huge stomach ache that follows

8. Shopping is my addiction..I have way too many clothes, and still think I need more

9. Starbucks is my favorite place to get coffee and tea. Nothing compares!

10. My mom is my idol, she is such a strong woman and has really made our family what it is today

11. I still live at home, even though my younger brother went away to college this past year, and I really regret not doing the same... :(

12. I really enjoy being a receptionist at TREO salon, I love the girls and the atmosphere

13. Disney movies are my favorite, I am really just a big kid at heart (Little Mermaid is my ALL time fav)

14. High School was the time of my life and everyone always makes fun of me for wanting to go back

15. ZUMBA is my favorite type of exercise, its so much fun!!

Spring is upon us.. we can all feel it in the air...It is so beautiful outside!! Dont get me wrong, I really love the winter and the snow! But I am extremely over the dull grey sky.  BRING ON THE SUNSHINE!
