Texas

Just finishing up my weekend getaway to Texas. Currently sitting in the airport waiting to go home. It was a fun 4 day filled adventure.  The start of our trip was a bit rocky with rain but got better as the days went on.

Saturday we had to get up uber early and get ready for the wedding festivities.

Though it was rainy everything was still absolutely beautiful!

Sunday we went to visit the little town of Gruene. It was very cute and quaint. We grabbed lunch there and walked around the town.

Then we headed to Austin. Scoped out the capital building and walked around a bit before taking the others to the airport.

Today my mom and I hit the open road to head to Waco. If anyone watched FixerUpper  than you know what resides in this little town. We hit up Chip & Joanna's Magnolia Market and shopped around a bit.

It was a definitely a nice long weekend away. Back to the grind tomorrow. Luckily only 3 days of work for this gal this week!

Pumpkin Fun

Today C and I went on a double day date with some friends of ours. We went to the Ekerts in Grafton to pick pumpkins then came home to carve them. It was really fun! I love the way ours turned out!

We looked and looked until we found the perfect pumpkin!

Ours is the Welcome one. I love it for our front porch. Adam and Meagan's turned out pretty good too! Definitely a great fall day!

Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Fun

This past weekend I had put on a bridal shower for my best friend. She is getting married in a few weeks in Texas. The weather was amazing and the place turned out so cute for her special day.

Within the same day we put on her bachelorette party as well. Because she lives out of town and can only come home for a couple days we had to do everything all together. It made for a long day but a fun one.

The bachelorette party consisted of pole dancing. Super out of my comfort zone but fun. Especially with our group. Very entertaining that's for sure.

Lazy Weekend

This weekend was definitely a lazy one. The hubs and I didn't leave the house maybe once to get something he needed in town. It was nice.

C snapped this pic of us snuggling.

Added a 1 year pic to our mantle

This weekend we experienced so much fall like weather! I loved every bit of it!

Managed to get our porch fall-ed up!

Happy Sunday!
