More DIY?? ALWAYS

I am so obessed with Pinterest that I am always wanting to do new DIY projects around our lil abode.  This past weekend was full of projects!! C managed to get our entire pallet couch done and I now just need to figure out what to do about cushions.  We are trying to get our basement useable so I am having a ball playing around with different ideas.  My parents also had given me a new piece to put in our kitchen.  Now I just need a piece by the front door.

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend has been jam packed with festivals, birthday parties, graduation parties, and looking at a wedding venue. The weather turned out perfect for everything as well! 

Friday night C and some of our friends walked up to the Bonifest. It was a great time! They had a band that played all night long and they were really good! 

Saturday we got up fairly early and went to se if my grandpas farm is a good place to h e the wedding. C's aunt is a decorator so she went with us and gave us her opinion. I think it is going to work out and is going to be just what we want! I am so excited! The rest of the day was spent cleaning and C finishing our pallet couch! Saturday evening we hung out with C's friend Adam and his gf Meagan. 

Yesterday we went to church and brunch with my family. Then attended lil E's 1st birthday party. Afterwards a graduation party. I just love spending time with friends and family! 

Today we are both enjoying our day off. I ran some errands with my madre and am going to start packing here in a bit.

Weekend

Weekends seem to just fly by.  I hate when Sunday rolls around because I know what day follows... Our weekends lately always seem to be so jammed even though we dont really have anything planned. I guess thats when you know summer has come upon us.

Friday night we had some friends over to BBQ and hang out outside.  The bugs started getting pretty bad so we moved our lil get together inside.

Saturday I got up early to go to the Hamel yard sales with a friend.  We walked the two best neighborhoods in the area and neither one of us walked away with anything.  Saturday night I watched Kar's sweet lil ones which is always fun!

This morning C and I woke up and decided to go get breakfast and run some errands.  I always love spending quality time with my boo.  The rest of the day has consisted of helping C with homework, laundry, and organizing the closet downstairs.  My next project is to get the bathroom downstairs cleaned up and do something with the space in the basement so it looks presentable and to where we can actually use it.

Weekend Recap: Through iPhone photos

This weekend was pretty busy. I feel like I get so behind with doing things at home when my weekends are jam packed. Friday night C and I made a quick trip to the mall to find his mom a Mother's Day gift (nothing like a little last minute) then went to my parents to watch the Blues Game.

Saturday I went with my family to Greenville to celebrate Mother's Day with my grandma. We all went to church and then to dinner. It's always a blast getting together with the whole fam! My baby cousin told my grandma that she will be a great-grandma soon because I am going to start having babies soon. Bahaha! I guess to him since I am getting married I should be having kids right away. So cute! Afterwards I met up with C at his friend Adams house. Adams mom hosts foster dogs and right now she has a liter of puppies! I am trying very hard to get Casey to get us one! 

Sunday was the bridal show. I was very disappointed in what was all there. It definitely was a lesson learned!!

Wedding season is in full swing.  I am attending a bridal event on Sunday with my mom and MOH and wanted to share a few pieces I am lusting over.

Florida Wish List
