My littlest brother is all grown up. 😞 His senior prom. 

Haha. I'm definitely feeling it this year!! Week 4 of this crap. I'm soo over it! 

Tuesday was a good mail day. A lil TB clutch/cross body and some Bath and Body Works smellies! :) 

I'm loving this coral color! Can't wait to use it! 

Dining Area

Here are some pics of our dining space. Like I mentioned before we really didn't buy any new furniture, just reused and restyled our old stuff. However, the dining chairs I did buy for more seating. I love how well they tie in and how put together this space is. :) 

My mom is obsessed with the swap and sell online so she finds a lot of neat stuff for me. My curtains she snagged for $15!  

Weekend Post

This weekend was filled with catching up lunch dates with friends and running around. Our weekend started with having some friends over on Friday night to watch the Blues game. 

Saturday I ran some errands and met up with a friend for lunch. That night C and I went to Fairview to run an errand and get some dinner. Then came home and watched Wolf on Wallstreet. If you have 3 hours to watch and want to see lots of sex and drugs then it's the movie for you. Definitely not my type of movie although it was very interesting in that it is based on a true story.

Today I went on another lunch date with friends and had the Easter program for the kiddos at work. It was really cute! I am just so thrilled with this warm weather we have been having. It seriously puts me in a better mood :) I need to soak up every ounce of spring I can before the hot temps start creeping up on us. 

I managed to snag some outfit pics this weekend. One casual and one a little dressier.

Living Room

My living room is still very much a work in progress. But it is coming along together quite nicely! Here's what we've done so far...

I swear I really do feed my dogs. Haha they both look really boney. 

My mantle is my favorite part. 

The accent wall is also one of my favorite parts of our living room. I can't wait to make a gallery wall here! 

This is our foyer. I obviously need a new light fixture but this will have to do for now.

The Master

I said I would post some pics of our new house. So here it goes. Here are a few of our master bedroom. We still need some wall decor but I really like how it has turned out so far. 

The pillows were a steal! My mom found them at Tj Maxx on sale for $13 a piece! 

The chest of drawers was a resale find, and the chest at the end of our bed was given to us that my mom had repainted and distressed. :) 

Can you tell I am loving this sea foam blue/green color right now!?! I love it! 

Happy Easter

Happy Easter all! I think we are finally experiencing some spring weather! Today was absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't have gotten a better day to celebrate with family. 

We finally figured out last night what we were going to do today as far as spending the holiday where. We went to church with my family this morning and then went to Cs moms house for lunch. It was a really enjoyable day. 

 

Birthday Weekend

This weekend was my birthday weekend. We manage to finish painting Friday night so we were able to put some more stuff away. Saturday we had tickets for the Blues game and then went to Ballpark Village afterwards. Ballpark Village is an awesome new attraction in the StL! Definitely a place we would go back to! 

Sunday was my actual birthday. I had to attend a bridal shower that afternoon and then we went to dinner at my parents that evening. The best part of the night is when we came home and watched Frozen! I loved it!

TGIF

I am so thankful it is Friday. This has been one heck of a long week. Which has been both good and not so good. Good in the sense that we got to do more stuff with the house and get things moved in. 

Bad because it's been nothing but NUTS at work. Wednesday I had one of my kiddos bust his head open and had to take a trip to the hospital. Jeesh!! I've seen my fair share of blood for a while. 

Back to the house progress. When we first moved in I didn't think I needed to paint much but once I looked at it all again I decided to do it. We are down to only two rooms left to paint. That I hope we get done tonight. Our bedroom is pretty much complete just need homes for a few more items. Our closet was my biggest challenge. And I'm SHOCKED I was able to get everything in it! It's starting to really feel like a home and everything is really coming together. :)

This weekend is going to be another busy one. We have tickets for the Blues game tomorrow and are planning on going to Ball Park Village after the game. I'm pumped!!
