Changes

There's been a lot of changes happening around us lately. Some small, such as a little change up in house decor, to some huge like us getting married in a couple of months. No matter how much I want it to I just wish time would slow down a bit. 

Today was a bit of an emotional day. My littlest brother graduated high school. In just a few short months he will be leaving my parents as empty nesters and starting his new journey into the college world. It's so crazy to think that just a short 18 years ago he was being born. 

On a smaller note. I've changed/added some decor around the house. 

New pictures, and an old jug from grandma to spruce up the entertainment center.

And a new rug for the dining area. :) 

Now to enjoy the rest of my weekend! 

Things

I've been a little distant lately with the blog world here. Nothing too exciting has really taken place (that is worthy enough to blog). However it is Memorial Day weekend and that can only mean one thing, one long weekend for this girl! I am so excited to have Monday off and get to catch up on doing some things around the house. I feel like I have been non stop since May hit us.  

Today was our field trip to the zoo. Let me tell you, field trips are stressful! Esp if you get two kids that like to take off and go in opposite directions. 

We got our very first shower gift that arrived on our door step today. I'm in love! 

This face. Man oh man gets me every time. How can you stay mad at something that innocent.

Beauty

This weekend has been absolutely beautiful! It's the perfect weather to sit outside and enjoy each other's company. It's also been a pretty low key weekend which made it that much better! 

Friday night we stayed in and just watched some movies. Nothing special, but hey that's exactly what is needed after a long week sometimes.

Yesterday, I ran some errands and got a little pampered. I met up with a friend for a mani/pedi. I always love getting my toes and nails done. They always do such a better job than what I do!

Decided to go with a pretty bright spring color. 

Last night we took the dogs to the park for a ill bit and then went over to the parentals for dinner. 

Today I met up with the fam for church and after had brunch for my mommas birthday. We always go to Chophouse for brunch and it is soo delicious! When I got back home C and I ran into town and went for a lil cruise. 

Can't wait to try this self tanner!
