House Update: Guest Room

I am horrible at remembering to take before and after pictures when I do updates to the house. But we finally took the twin beds down yesterday and got a full size bed in the guest room. It looks so much better and so open. Now to just get some stuff on the walls. :) 

This was our old bedding. But it works in here for now. 

I am so relieved and happy that this is done! Now onto tackling the mess in the other room! 

Another Wedding

Yesterday was the last wedding we had for the summer.  It's so crazy to think you plan this big day for so long and then everything is over in the blink of an eye. The wedding yesterday was very nice. It was fun hanging out with our closet friends, weddings are always so fun. 

Callie and I had gotten our nails done in the am. I always enjoy getting gel nails I can just never keep up with them!

Of course C was having a good time and somehow we ended up with 6 koozies.. 

Now on the count down to our big day! 

Bridal Shower # 2

Because my family is so large we decided to have two bridal showers. One strictly for family and one for friends. So Sunday my bridesmaids put on another shower for me at my best friend Callie's house. It was so cute! They did an awesome job on everything! It was the perfect amount of people as well. It was quaint and fun!

We played this really cute game where Erica had asked Casey some questions to answer and then I had to guess what his answer was. If I answered wrong I had to put a piece of bubble gum in my mouth. Needless to say it was pretty hilarious and fun.

Erica got me this gold plates necklace from Stella and Dot engraved with our wedding date on it. I love it! 

So glad Kelly came to the shower! Love her! 

It was really a great time this weekend with everyone. Can't believe are big day is approaching so soon!

Bridal Shower #1

This weekend was filled with wedded bliss activities. Friday night I conquered finishing up our wedding invites. Such a relief just need to finish a few more, but at least the majority of them are finished! 

Saturday started the bridal shower extravaganza. Saturdays shower was mainly for family and boy do we have a lot of family! I am overwhelmed by how much we received. But so blessed to have such great family to attend and share this special time with us. 

My aunts and my mom put the shower on at the Greenville Country club and it all turned out really nice! I couldn't be more thankful for everything!

My cousin Mal helped do so much for the family shower! So glad she is a part of our day! 

My dad's sisters a made this basket of "Firsts" it was filled with wine for each event to share in our first year of marriage. So cute! 

This was probably my favorite gift. Maybe I'm being a lil biased because it came from my awesome family, but it was so cute how they wrapped it. They each wrote a note that went along with what the gift was. 

Cale's- "I suck at this but you can always count on me to sweep each other off your feet." 

Cam's- "here's a vacuum just in Casey."

Mom's- "if you use this vacuum as much as I do, I should've just bought you a broom." 

Dad's- "May you sweep your problems away, may you dust your troubles aside and may you always remember to live a clean life."

I can't believe it's all done and over with already. Now to find a home for everything..
