Holiday Fun

These last few days off went by wayy to fast! Ugh why does time off work go by quicker than work? Ha. We really enjoyed all of the family time we had with everyone. C and I couldn't be more blessed to have such a fantastic family! 

My friend Courtney took pictures for us for Christmas for my parents and she did an amazing job! We love them!! 

Back to a crazy work week I'm sure! 

Thankful

In honor of the holiday on Thursday, I decided to do a little post on the top 5 things I am thankful for.

Sick

I've been cooped up on the couch since Sunday with a nasty virus. Not sure if it's a horrible cold or the flu. I've on and off have had a fever, a cough, a stuffy nose. Each morning I wake up thinking I'm going to be able to make it to work and by the time I try to get ready I just don't have the strength of energy. No fun.  To top it off Casey is now catching it and he broke his thumb on Monday. Ha! When it rains it pours right? Just wanting this all this to blow over and get back to normal for next weeks festivities! 

Deck the Halls

Literally. I've ready busted out all my Christmas decor. I have just been too excited. And to help me justify doing it so early, we got our first snow fall today! Still just waiting on the tree so I'll post that later on. But I'm digging what I've got so far. 

These marque letters were an awesome find at Target! And really reasonably priced. 

I started on the outside a little bit too. But it's not close to being finished. Am I a little to eager for Christmas? Maybe. Haha 

Laying Low

This isn't a very exciting blog post. Considering we didn't really do much this weekend. But hey, I was totally okay with it. 

Friday night I went to dinner with my parents and my brother. C made plans with his friends so I met up with them later. 

Yesterday I worked all day and then came home and just couldn't contain the excitement. So I put my Christmas decorations up. Ha! Now I wish we had our tree to have that done too. I can wait a few weeks for that I guess. Last night we put on a fire and cuddled up and watched a movie. It was just what I needed after a loonngg week.

Oh yeah, I also went dark for winter. I needed a little bit of a change. :) 

Today consists of some house cleaning, grading, and getting our Christmas card pictures taken!

Vests, Vests, and more Vests

It seems like my go-to piece this fall is a puffer vest. I just love how detailed they make an outfit. And they're warm! So I figure it's a win/win.
