Beautiful Weather

Couldn't beat another fabulous weekend for great weather.

Friday night we had our 2nd monthly Dinner Club dinner at Kel and Dans. So fun eating yummy food and enjoying our neighbors company. We also got to enjoy a bonfire.

Saturday morning I got to watch sweet Gia for a few hours and had a blast!! Seriously love that little girl. Saturday night we went to scope out the balloon festival in Marine. It was definitely neat to see the balloons take off, but definitely disappointing with the food choices. We literally stood in line for an hour to eat.

Today was another lazy day actually. I don't know what it is but lately just enjoy spending Saturday's and Sunday's laying on the couch. I did manage to get up for a few hours and went to my cousins gender reveal party. They have a gorgeous lake view of the Greenville lake that I managed to snap a pic of.

So happy the weather of starting to feel more fall like. Can't wait for more bonfires and cool nights outside.

So Ready

Oh man it's that time of year again. My absolute favorite! You know the one where it's pumpkin everything? Yeah that one. Fall. I have sadly had my fall decor out since the beginning of September and couldn't be more proud of it. I just love everything about it! Now the weather just needs to get a bit cooler!

Found this chalkboard art gem in the Target dollar section

I love this saying! It speaks to me on so many different levels.

My outside is a bit decorated as well. I still would like to get some real pumpkins and mums for the porch but haven't gotten to it yet.

Happy Fall Y'all!

Beautiful Weekend

The weather was absolutely perfect this weekend. It was silly to stay inside the whole time so we made sure to get out and enjoy it.

Yesterday we went up the Global Brew Ocktober Fest in town. It was a different experience drinking German beer and eating German food but so fun! We met a few friends up there and enjoyed ourselves and the weather.

Today was just as beautiful. Managed to get some stuff done around the house and relaxed. It was our 1 year anniversary so we went to dinner to celebrate. We went to Sugos here in town which is so yummy! I love the spaghetti and meatballs. You get so much food!

Outfit Details: Top: Old Navy//Skinnies: Kohls//Heels: Christian Louboutins

I busted out my wedding shoes! Thought it was necessary. :)

One Year

This Sunday marks our 1 year anniversary. I know it's only been a year, but it's just so crazy how fast time goes by! It seems like yesterday we were just saying 'I do' on my family farm with all of our friends and family there to celebrate. Such a joyous day to always remember.

As part of the celebration I wanted to get pictures done. A friend of mine does some photography on the side so I had her take some for us. I am so happy with how well they turned out!

The weather was absolutely perfect and felt so fall like!! To make it even better Casey gave me my anniversary gift early.

I had some diamonds from a necklace he had gotten me years ago so I had them put into a band for the other side of my wedding ring. They were just about the same size as the ones on my wedding band so it looks perfect!

September

With school starting and fall right around the corner. Things have been relaxing yet slow for us.

The last weekend in August we hosted our very first dinner club. We really enjoyed our neighbors all getting together . Can't wait to do the next one! That same weekend we were invited to go to the Loading Dock in Grafton to see a Grateful Dead cover band. It was so much fun! I really enjoyed all the people watching.

We spent Labor Day laying around the house and getting out on the lake one last time before summer ended. We haven't had much going on so its been nice to just get stuff done around the house and catch up on a few things.

Hello Fall

It's been a little over a month since my last post. Life has picked up a bit since then.

Since my last post I have started my first official year in my career. And to top it off in the school district I always dreamed of! My hometown! I am teaching 5th grade and really enjoying it.

I can't believe this time last year I was  questioning my decision in career choice and on the brink of giving up. I am so blessed to have gained this new experience and can't wait to see where teaching takes me.
