Rain Cloud

I feel that I've had a very dark rain cloud over my head the past few days. Nothing has really seemed to go my way nor have I had much luck.

Late Thursday evening God took a very special man into his hands and we laid him to rest on Monday. It was a very tiring and long weekend, but filled with so much love and support from amazing family and friends.

As if it couldn't get much better, I blew out a tire yesterday and ended up having to get a whole new set of tires. Nothing like having to spend an arm and a leg on something I didn't really want to, but I guess they are a necessity.

Although everything the last couple days hasn't exactly been the best timing, I know that it will turn around here soon. I am very thankful for all that I have been blessed with and need to take in and cherish each day.

One of my favorite memories of my grandpa. He was such a sweet, loving man. Driving the boat with grandpa gave us all a passion for being on the water.

Bachelorette Party

I cannot say enough how much fun I had this past weekend on my bachelorette party. Everyone was able to let loose and enjoy the atmosphere and several glasses of wine! ;) We took the train to Hermann, Missouri and got a house to stay in for the night. A trolley game to the house to pick us up and take us from winery to winery.  I was definitely able to relax for a bit and enjoy every minute of it. I still catch myself recalling some of the moments and laughing out loud. Haha

Started with a train station pic. From the get to it rained on us.

Lately

I haven't blogged in a while, but the past two weekends have been pretty calm for us. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, because we are definitely about to hit into high gear here soon.

This past weekend was a very on a whim type of weekend. We had nothing planned but just went with the flow. We did absolutely nothing Friday evening. Which was really kind of nice.

Saturday I worked throughout the day and C went to help with barn prep. After I got off we went up to the Prairietown homecoming. We saw a lot of people we knew up there and had a good time.

Yesterday I was off work and ended up babysitting for a friend. We had a great walking adventure by heading to the park and then to Dairy Queen. I'm pretty sure I was more worn out than the two of them by the time we got back.
