Relaxation

This weekend was nothing but relaxing. C got home late Thursday afternoon and we planned on just staying in Friday. The pups had a vet appointment so we took them to that and then grabbed a pizza and enjoyed the nice evening. We rented a movie and then called it a night. Now that is what I call a nice evening. 

Last night C had a bachelor party so I went to a friends engagement party and then met up with another friend for some wine. My favorite! 

Today has been spent catching up. Grocery shopping and cleaning the house. It feels so good to have a clean house. I've been decorating a lil more around the house and have started my entry way setup. I really like how it is turning out. 

Holy hotness!

It is definitely summer here in the Midwest! It has been nothing but hot a humid since the first day of summer. I don't know if my hair can handle it!

This past weekend was spent working,hanging out with friends, family, and of course taking care of two crazy pups. Casey got sent out for work so I've been flying solo for the past couple of days. I really hope he comes home soon! We have a lot going on this weekend and the upcoming week is going to be nuts!

And how I was saying how bad I was wanting this lil guy?!?

Well Tuesday night C came home not only with this lil one but another lil pup as well! So we are now parents to TWO boxer mix puppies! He surprised me with them and I had no idea I was even getting one dog much less two! They are definitely work and are testing our every move, but it will be so worth it to have two good companions for us and them.

Project Basement

C and I had been talking about doing something with the basement since we moved into our lil abode. We just never really thought of what to do. The more pinteresting I did the more we were inspired. It all started with the pallet couch my lovely handy man put together for me! From there it just started coming along. Friday C finished the floor and Saturday the dry wall was up. All it needs now is the projector we ordered, cushions for the couch, a table top, and some paint. I can't wait for it all to come together!

What I Wore: To Fly

I flew home today from Florida.. Boo. There is so much damage back here from the storm Friday it's really depressing. I am glad to be home, I missed my bed and my most importantly my boo. 

When flying I always enjoy going casual yet comfy. This outfit was exactly that. I chose the longer shirt and capris pants because it can be so cold on the plane. So this outfit was perfect to travel in.

Naples, Florida

The past couple of days have been spent laying on the beach, shopping, eating, and drinking. ;) It has been such a relaxing couple of days with my aunt, cousin, mom, and another mother-daughter combo. We had so much fun together! Many laughs and many memories were made on this trip.
