I had my grandmas surprise 80th birthday party today. We had a lot of family there so it was nice to catch up with them.

Reminiscing

I'm just sitting here tonight going through photos on my camera roll and looking back on our wedding. I may be extremely biased but I just loved how everything turned out and thought it was the prettiest! 

It truly was the best day ever!

I came home Friday to a clean house. I couldn't believe it! 

I watched this sweet boy on Saturday for a bit so he could play with his cousins. :)

They were worn out after P diddy had left. Haha! 

More Updating

Always trying to update stuff around here. This weekend we tackled and finished the guest bath. I had posted a while back that I painted the vanity. So with that being done we got a new light, faucet, and put on some hardware. It looks so much better! 

It's amazing how a few little changes can make a space look so much different. 

I also moved some stuff around in our entry way and put up a new frame that I had gotten from my mom.

The laundry room got a new piece. I didn't know where to put this big B we had made but I think it'll work in here for now.

My cousins boyfriend makes these and uses reclaimed barn wood for the back. They are really cool! 

The office space is still coming together and I found this cute ampersand marquee light at michaels the other day. 

Cousins Night Out

Since my grandpas passing in August the cousins have tried to get together one night and it just didn't seem to work. This Saturday it seemed to work very well. It turned out to be a great evening, enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to do it more often.

Guest Bath Vanity Redo

I seriously love days off school. I get so much done and feel so accomplished! I've been feeling super inspired to get our house a little more updated. So I tackled a few small projects I could do myself. 

Today's objectives: Guest bath vanity and  organize laundry room. 

The before look of the vanity. I hated the old outdated look of the wood. 

With a little chalk paint and a poly overlay for waterproofing it's done! Looks so much better!! Just need a new light, faucet, and hardware. 

I really want C to put a wooden shelf up in here but for now this will do. 

Needed some organization. Digging the outcome for the time being.
