Laid Back

This past weekend was pretty laid back. We didn't do a whole lot which was kinda nice and a change of pace. 

Friday night my mom invited us over for dinner since my brother was back in town for the weekend. 

Saturday I worked all day at the salon and while I was working C put up our projector screen down in the basement. So we pretty much spent all evening a downstairs. We did go to the Glen Fest for a lil bit and see what all was going on there. 

Yesterday was so nice out I managed to get some stuff done around the house. A lot of lil DIY projects were accomplished. We also went out to eat with Cs family for his brothers bday.

Currently Loving

Quality Time

C and I spent a lot of quality time together this weekend. It was so nice to not have anything planned and just do whatever we wanted. Friday night we grabbed dinner and then came back home and watched a movie. Relaxation. 

Today I managed to get quite a bit done around the house. We are trying to finish up the basement so I finally finished painting. Just needs a few more touches and I think it'll be good. Tonight we got tickets to the Blues pre-season game. I always enjoy going to the blues games.

The weekends just fly by way to quickly..already looking forward to next weekend. 

The Last

This weekend wrapped up the last of our wedding festivities for the year. I am pretty relieved to say the least. I love weddings but they are stressful! And I wasn't even apart of this one! Haha 

Now we can just take time and focus on our own, and get a little break until the weddings start back up next summer! 

Friday night we stayed in and enjoyed the awesome weather! I busted out my uggs and we had a lil fire going in the backyard. It was perfect. Nothing beats autumn nights by the fire. 

Casey felt the need to rock the mustache for this wedding. Lets just say it was a hit!

This weekend was all sorts of things. Relaxing, eventful, fun, and helpful.  Friday night we didn't have any plans so we went up to the moose to help set up for the big event on Saturday. 

I was off on Saturday and it was so nice to just lay around with the boy and pups and get some stuff done around the abode. Saturday night we had the livefightlove event in memory of Cs dad. There was a great turn out and it was fun to just hang with friends and family. 

Today has also been a relaxing day. Laundry is almost done and I haven't gotten up from the couch much. I love lazy days like these.

Long Weekend

I just love it when we have long weekends! They don't come often enough.

Saturday I worked at the salon and then we headed to a friends for fun in the sun and some grilling. It was so nice, even though it was incredibly hot! 

She made herself at home! 

Yesterday I went to church and then to visit with my grandparents out in Greenville. It was nice to catch up with them. 

Today has been a nice relaxing day off with the boy and the pups.

Date Night

Last night C and I had a date night. We started out with dinner and then rented a movie. Those are seriously the best Friday nights!!
