Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend was spent doing a little shopping, decorating, and a lot of family time. I just love this time of year!

Thursday was Thanksgiving and we had two places to go. We started the day going to CBs aunts house for lunch. Then ended the day with leftovers for dinner at my parents.

Friday was an interesting day. I had so many plans to get my tree up and decorated, except that was quickly squashed when we stood in line at Cabellas for 4 hours for C to pick up his latest purchase. We had to quickly come home and get ready for a family dinner out for daddios birthday.

Yesterday I did manage to get my tree up and decorated as well as the outside. I am still wanting to spruce it up a bit but waiting on this dreary weather to clear out.

Today I managed to get to church, run some errands, grab lunch with a friend, and wrap some gifts. I am so eager to get my shopping done for everyone. Except that I am stressing on finding the perfect gift for my inlaws.. Ugh.

It was a long but short weekend off, but so enjoyable! I can't wait to have some more family time here in the next couple weeks.

Since we don't get to do the fun stuff with the Elf on the Shelf with kiddos just yet, we decided to bust him out for ourselves this year. Meet Chippy. I came home from church and walked in the door to this. Haha oh, it's on!

Tis the Season

I managed to get my Christmas decorations up today and I am so thrilled about it! I love this time of year! All we need now is our tree.

Life Lately: Through my Camera Roll

Of course these two had to be a part of family game night.

We had an interesting night a couple weeks ago. Rushing to the ER and C ending up with 5 stitches.

Dan and Kel invited us to BPV to watch the blues game one Saturday night. So fun!

Keeping my faith and hope in times when its needed the most.

Enjoyed snuggling/bonfire time this past weekend.

Halloween Weekend

We arnt big Halloween people but we did get to enjoy some Halloween fun. Friday night we had our monthly dinner club party. Sitting around the fire enjoying pizza and neighborly company while trick or treaters came and went. It was fun! Cannot wait to continue on the celebration for more dinner clubs.

Last night we were going to go to the parade but opted out as it started getting nasty outside. So we ended up going to my rents for a family game night. Those are always fun, esp with my family. We love playing 'Things' if you never played something you should definitely consider playing sometime! But the best part of the night is seeing all 5 dogs in the dog kennel. Haha

I can't believe my parents dogs were willing to get in with the rest of them.

Found this picture today and the countdown is on! I cannot wait!
