Fall Festivities

This past weekend went by way too fast!!  Friday night C and I ended up attending 2 bonfires.  Which is one of the best things I love about FALL! A friend of C's from lineman school moved into his own place and we went over there to check it out.  Im very jealous of him and his gf. I love their little place and it is super cute for them and their baby on the way! They had a little bonfire going in the backyard so we hung out there for a lil while.  Afterwards we went to C's other friend Jason's house and his brother was also having a bonfire.  I love snuggling up next to the warm fire. 

Last night E and I got together to get a few last minute details together for the bridal shower.  We made our cake for Kels and my parents decided to have a lil bonfire of their own.  So we hung out around the fire after everything was done and just talked.  It was very relaxing.

Today was a very busy day...It was my friend Kelsey's bridal shower and we had so much to get together before everyone had arrived.  The decorations turned out great!  Pinterest could not have come at a better time for me!! I love all the great decorating ideas and gift ideas!! Its soo perfect! This website definitely consumes my life :)

A Long Time

Its been a while since I last posted on here.  I really need to get on the ball and start blogging more.  Ive been pretty busy lately between school and work.  I havent really had anything too exciting go on since the float trip a couple weekends ago.  Last Sunday I attended Erica's Sip n Splatters party and it was a lot of fun! It was cupcake themed and I really love my painting! I cant wait to move into my own house and hang up in my kitchen one day!!  Speaking of moving out, I am really getting anxious to move on with the next chapter in my life and graduate college, along with that I would like to move out on my own.  My parents have a rental house in town and once their renters lease is up I am hoping to move into there.  Time is flying by, but Spring just cant get here fast enough.  I am soo ready to start student teaching.  Today is Thursday, and so tomorrow is Friday!! I am so excited for the weekend! I really want some time to relax.

Floating Fun

This Labor day weekend C and I enjoyed our last "summer" weekend at the Bass River resort floating down the river. It was a great float trip as they all are. It started out extremely hot on Saturday but turned out really nice by Sunday (even though it was overcast). It was nice to just get away for the weekend and hang out with friends, although I would rather not have slept in a tent, haha..but it turned out good.

I love 3 day weekends and 4 day weeks... They fly by so much faster..

I am so anxious for the fall season to get here! I cannot wait to start wearing boots and hoodies!

Since yesterday after work, I am currently obssesed with this website called Pinterest! I cannot stop!

Im in LOVE with this song right now! It is the perfect summer song! And what better way to end the summer than with a great float trip this weekend! I am so excited!
