Goodbye February

February was a fun filled month for C and I. We celebrated Valentines Day staying in making a yummy meal with friends. Then the week after we celebrated Cs big 24 birthday. He wanted to go to a bar in Hamel we used to hang out quite a bit so we got a group together to go. It was a good time. Then today we made a big step in our journey together and closed on our house!! Unfortunately we do not get to move in right away due to the sellers having no place to go so we allowed them to rent from us for the month of March. We have both come to terms with it being that we would be making a lil money out of the deal and we are hoping the weather is a little nicer come April 1 when we DO get to move.  

Happy Valentines Day

I'll be honest I am not really a fan of Valentines day. I kinda feel that it is just another holiday to go overboard on chocolate and candy (kinda like Halloween). I know it's all about love and showing love for those close to us. But shouldn't we do that everyday anyway? Point being I don't have to be wined and dined on Valentines day. But I will participate a little bit. ;)

 Tonight's plans include making dinner at home with another couple at our house. On the menu: crab legs, twice baked potatoes, butterfly shrimp, and bacon wrapped asparagus. Yummo! :)

What I Wore: to Work

I haven't done an outfit post in a while.. I wanted to wear my Hunters since we had gotten some snow. So I paired them with a sweater and skirt for my work ensemble last Wednesday night. I really liked the look of this outfit. And it was super comfortable.

6 More Weeks

Welp our lil furry friend came out of hibernation on Sunday to let everyone know that there will be 6 more weeks of winter. Sure enough yesterday afternoon the fluffy white stuff came floating down on us once more. I really was hoping for a little more so I could have a snow day and enjoy it from the comfort of my home. I unfortunately did not get so lucky. Although we did play in it for a little bit today.

Things have been really slow lately around our lil abode. Neither one of us really left the couch this past weekend due to colds we both caught. However, we did venture out to a friends on Sunday to watch the Super Bowl.  But the game was actually pretty boring. So we really just all caught up and talked the entire time rather than watching. Nothing wrong with that! :)

Our favorite buddies loved every minute of mom and dad not doing anything. Because that meant snuggle time! And we did manage to watch A LOT of movies.
