Bridal Shower

Today was the shower of my best friend. She is getting married in a little over a month in Florida. Everything today turned out to be so cute!

A New Rug

I know we just got a rug for the kitchen a while back when we had first moved in. Since then I've found the perfect one for the kitchen. I am in love! 

I love how the light hits this area so nicely. 

I love that the yellow in the rug brings out the curtain color. 

Celebrate for a Month

My husband says that my birthday lasts for the whole month of April, the way we celebrate for it. And I am totally ok with that!! I love celebrations! 

Saturday of this past weekend we went to the Loading Dock to sit outside and enjoy some great company!! After the Loading Dock we came back closer to home and went up to Wigglers. Lots of people were up there that we knew and it was a good time. Was definitely feeling the aftermath of everything Sunday. 

Last night the celebrating continued with dinner with the MIL and C's grandparents. 

Today marks 2 years of these two crazies! 

Crazy how fast time flies!!

Birthday Blues

I don't know exactly why nor can I really explain it, but I was having a difficult time with turning 25. Not that I can control it right? Ha. Maybe it's the fact that I only have 5 more years in my 20s. Or that I am really an adult (not that I haven't been the past 7 years?). Even though it's a tad sad I did have a fantastic day! 

It started out with my mom and I heading to the Galleria to do a little shopping and take some returns back. We stopped in at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and of course my favorite, cheesecake. 

Once we got back my dad was wanting to take me out for a celebratory drink so we hit up Cleveland and Heath for one and some appetizers. 

I was in the mood for a Bloody Mary. And I must say it was delicious! 

The bartender over heard us say it was my birthday so he had this yummyness sent out for me! 

Casey ended up not going to his meeting tonight so we've been just lounging this evening. Perfect ending to a great day. 

Here's to being 25 and rocking it! 

Kentucky Trip

Was able to get away for a short trip to Lexington this weekend. It was a very enjoyable and great time. Even if it did rain most of the time. 

The hotel had this big horse in it. Had to get a pic with it!

I must say I was a 'whale' of a good time.
