The City that NEVER Sleeps

I just got back from the city that NEVER sleeps. And boy is that true! With all the hustle and bustle of NYC I can see why no one ever sleeps! I went on a short little trip with my family to NYC over the weekend. It was a great trip! Anyone that has ever wanted to go, it is definitely a must see! There is seriously so much to do! We tried to cover it all in the couple days we were there but still missed a few things.

                   Rockefeller Center

We flew out Christmas Day and arrived late that night. My cousin took us downtown to Times Square to see all the sites. We didn't get back to his place until 3:30! Ha

          St. Patrick's Catholic Church

                    Times Square

The next day (Saturday) we went to see where the tragedy 911 had happened and the rebuilding of the twin towers. Along with going to the Financial District and seeing the NY stock exchange. The final stop was the Statue of Liberty.

                   World Tower One

They are currently in the process of building the 2nd tower.

                       Ground Zero

                          Tiffany's

       Ellis Island-The Statue of Liberty

That same night we went to eat at my cousins restaurant and then he took us to the Brooklyn Promenade that over looks the entire city. It was so surreal and beautiful!

Sunday was another day of adventure. We went downtown again to attend church at St. Patrick's. Then headed down to Central Park and then to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

         The Famous Rockefeller Tree

                    The Plaza Hotel

                        Central Park

                           The Met

That night we met up with Keith again and he took us around his nick of the woods in Brooklyn. We also met some new friends along the way!

Our last day was yesterday (Monday), my cousin was off work for the day so he tools is down to Soho for some shopping. We also ate in China town and walked through Little Italy. Such a neat experience!!
